Astorflex
Astorflex stands for genuine Italian shoemaking artistry with over 200 years of tradition. The brand originates from Castel d'Ario in Mantua, where the Travenzoli family has been crafting shoes since 1820. After the First World War, the family business began production using the so-called "Ideal" method – a special outer seam along the edge of the sole, which makes the shoe more robust, flexible, and durable. This traditional process continues to this day, making Astorflex one of Italy's most authentic shoe brands. Production is still carried out entirely in Italy and is now in its seventh generation.
What makes Astorflex shoes so special is the exceptional combination of durability, comfort, and sustainable manufacturing. High-quality Italian leathers from traditional tanneries in Tuscany are used, which are vegetable-tanned. Natural materials such as oak bark and mimosa are employed, making the leather particularly soft, breathable, and durable. The distinctive natural crepe soles, made from genuine natural rubber, additionally provide high walking comfort, flexibility, and excellent cushioning. At the same time, the shoes quickly adapt to the foot and become increasingly comfortable over time. Thanks to their robust construction and durable materials, Astorflex shoes are perfect for daily use and develop an individual patina with wear.
Astorflex shoes are ideal, especially for the transitional season. The robust suede leather, sturdy crepe soles, and closed silhouettes offer optimal comfort in changeable weather and fluctuating temperatures. Models like Desert Boots or Chukka Boots look both casual and high-quality, and can be versatilely combined with denim, chinos, overshirts, or knitwear. The shoes are neither too heavy nor too light, making them perfect companions for spring and autumn. We love Astorflex because the brand combines timeless design, sustainable materials, and honest craftsmanship – shoes with character that are durable, comfortable, and stylish all at once.
