Founded in Milan in 1911, Valstar has over a century of experience in producing high-quality outerwear. From its early years, the company made a name for itself with water-repellent coats. Today, the Italian luxury brand is primarily known for men's jackets, coats, and leather apparel that combine traditional craftsmanship with a modern interpretation. The Valstarino, arguably the brand's most famous model, was created in 1935. Inspired by the A1 Flight Jacket of the United States Army Air Corps, Valstar translated the characteristic shape of the military aviator jacket into a sporty and elegant wardrobe for everyday civilian life. With its distinctive stand-up collar, ribbed hem, button placket, and patch pockets, the Valstarino became the brand's signature design. In 2009, the jacket was recognized in Milan as an icon of Italian design.
