Boglioli Milano

Handmade

Boglioli's roots date back to the early 1900s, when the family founded a men's tailoring shop in Gambara, in the province of Brescia, which soon became known for its masterful craftsmanship. In the 1960s, Boglioli began producing exclusively for other fashion houses—laying the foundation for what would later become its own brand. It wasn't until 1973 that the Boglioli brand was finally born, with a revolutionary concept: the deconstructed blazer and piece-dyed fabrics, all made in Italy.

Italy, Milan

Boglioli gained worldwide attention with the unstructured jacket—soft, unlined, yet precisely tailored. The famous K-Jacket, first presented at Pitti Uomo in 1987, still symbolizes this revolution today. It combines Italian refinement with a casual touch, allowing men to move freely without sacrificing elegance. Boglioli thus became a pioneer of the "smart casual" aesthetic that is now a global standard.

History

Particularly distinctive is Boglioli's use of garment dyeing – the piece-dyeing of finished suits and jackets. Originally conceived as a pragmatic solution to more efficiently utilize fabric scraps, it has become a style-defining technique. Today, it lends even the finest materials, such as cashmere or silk, that soft, irregular coloration reminiscent of the patina of Italian architecture. Boglioli thus successfully combines tradition and innovation – and thus creates a definition of luxury that is quietly, subtly, and unmistakably Italian.
